LEARN MORE: ITEM HANDLING

Item handling is the rule set for how KickSync behaves in less common circumstances. Like unpaid items or canceled transactions.

Please click through the guide below to get a quick idea of how KickSync works in these situations.

ITEM HANDLING

When you combine inventory across two marketplaces, there will always be questions about how to handle transactions, and inventory that does something other than just sell and ship.

Item handling is KickSync’s own rule set for what we do in each of these circumstances.

To maintain the integrity of your synced inventory, it’s generally best to take action on items from out of Kicksync.

Sellers new to Amazon should be aware of what actions Amazon takes automatically, so those items or quantities don’t get duplictaed.

Amazon items that pull as pending but go back active are automatically reposted live by Amazon.

If an Amazon item goes pending but the transaction does not complete, Amazon will typically automatically repost your item. When this happen KickSync will place the item back into your relist que so it will be relisted the next time you bulk relist.

If an Amazon transaction is canceled, Amazon will most often repost your item automatically.

When this happen KickSync will place the item into your relist que so it will be relisted the next time you bulk relist.

If you fulfill a cancellation request do not manually repost the item yourself as this can end up with duplicate the item and overselling.  It can take some time for Amazon to repost the item (up to 24 hours). Bear in mind this is Amazon’s behavior, not Kicksync.

If the item has not reposted in 24 hours, you can presume Amazon is not going to repost it and you can proceed to relist through KickSync.

Unpaid items on eBay need to be manually relisted.

If you relist the item from inside of KickSync we will automatically update the inventory on Amazon. *the best option.

If you have already Cleaned Up the item and relist the item directly on eBay, you will need to sync the item as a new SKU.

If you have not Cleaned up the item and relist the item directly on eBay or are using eBay’s Automatically Unpaid Item assistant (which will automatically relist when the Unpaid item case is closed) KickSync will detect the relist and activate the SKU again. We will NOT push the inventory to Amazon yet though. This is to best protect you from overselling.
